Gear up guys - the budget box has arrived! There are millions of people demanding to game cheap. So considering people's demand, we have finally arranged a full end Gaming PC for $310 (If all components are bought brand new) or $250 if all components are bought used. The PC components we are about to discuss shall be fully capable to run games like GTA 5, Battlefield4 etc on high settings (if GPU and Processor overclocked).

The AMD Athlon X4 860K - a cheaper way to process more! Lets now have a look at the specications of Athlon X4 860K. The 95 Watt quad-core processor of 3.7 GHz at normal and 4.0 GHz when Amd's Turbo frequency gets on, comes up with the FM2+ socket and can support 64 bit data width. There is a 2*2 (MB) L2 Cache memory but no L3 Cache (a drawback to be precise). To further increase the processing frequency to 4.4 GHz, you need to overclock. It supports 2133 MHz Ram which becomes 2400 MHZ when overclocked. Now this is a plus point for gamers. Costs about $65 new.

ASUS R7 250 Image

The most important component - the Asus Radeon R7 250 2GB Video Card will surely provide you a nice gaming experience. It has a clock speed of upto1000MHz. Consuming 65 Watts off board, the R7 250 provides great value graphics with superior stability and 3D gaming. It's GPU Tweak helps you modify clock speeds, voltages, fan performance and more. It has three input/output ports; VGA, HDMI and DVI-D. Though I prefer to go with Radeon R7 260x. Costs about $80 new.

The Asus A68HM-E acts as the best budget motherboard for above components. Having 4 Ram slots with the maximum of 32GB, it also has 2 USB3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 Ports. All other specs are as what a normal motherboard has except that it can supppot the Ram overclocking upto 2400MHz which now is fully equall to what the processor could do. Costs about $40 new.

I'd prefer you to go with an 8GB Ram because I think that it's more than enough. Also that most games dont require more than 4GB Ram. G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory will fulfill your Ram requirement. Costs about $40 new.

Although the processor comes with an air cooler and heat sink but I'll recommend you to be more carefull and spend abit on a well balanced air cooler like Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO that shall easily be handling all the overclocking thing with its 2000RPM fan speed. The fan sound level is not more than 36db.Costs about $25 new.

A 500 Watt power supply will do the work for this. The Corsair CX500 has almost no noise level and also has an 80Plus Bronze certification. This shall be the most cheap and ideal PSU for this build. Costs about $30 new

As for the harddrive, I'll recommend Hitachi Ultrastar 750GB with 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. This memory is enough for normal gamer. However you can upgrade it if you want. Costs about $30 new.

These are all the components except the casing which can be bought for $15 approx, peripherals approx for $30 and an LCD for $80 will complete your whole gaming PC. To add more sexiness to the PC, you may add LED lights and more coolers. Enjoy Gaming!

P.S : Prices may vary abit! (About $5 to $10)

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
