AMD's new Radeon software Crimson edition shall be succeeding  AMD Catalyst software. This shall be unlocking several new capabilities for gamers including:

  • Over 20 new features
  • Performance increases of up to 19% on AMD Radeon™ graphics and up to 29% on AMD APUs
  • Significant number of bug fixes and improvements based on user feedback

This new settings software shall also be providing you additional performance, and even more reliability for your AMD-based PC at no extra cost. Enjoy Ultra HD quality on 4K displays with Radeon. AMD says that this will load in 0.6 seconds, way faster than the predecessor 8 seconds and will have a flexible interface with superior navigation. Its is also said that it will be an operating system for your graphic card.

You can control your hardware through this according to the game you're to play. Yes, the game manager in it can save profiles for the detected games so that you tweak only according to the need. Hence power saved and you don't need to tweak while surfing through different game plays.

You’ll also have several optimized video profiles to choose from, and if you’ve got multiple displays you can configure them all separately. Radeon Settings will be making Eyefinity (AMD’s multi-monitor integration product) easier to set up than before. You’ll be able to get it running in one click, but more options are available if you want to tweak some settings. (This paragraph Courtesy: pcgamer.com)

The release date is yet to be announced, though it is said that it shall be out within a month or two.

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
